Muebles Manuel started thinking about how to design reading and archive spaces, believing that the mental space should expand into our bodies, chairs, bookshelves, living rooms and working spaces. This evolved into other spatial projects for exhibitions, art fairs, and book fairs. We’re also interested in craftsmanship and vernacular techniques, depending on where the project is developed, we work in close collaboration with the local context meaning also materials, techniques and local expertise. Each piece in the catalogue has a specific story related to a place, a group of people and a process. Catalogue design 2019.
